Assistant Sales Manager

Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team consisting of but not limited to:
Monitoring the performance of and assisting the sales team.
Provide technical support to team members by providing training and mentoring as needed.
Supervising and delegating tasks to the sales team members.
Develop, implement and improve strategies to drive sales growth and build relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
Develop, maintain and monitor plan for sales pipeline process activities.
Maintain and organize company records, databases, marketing materials (product literature, pricing, policies, approvals database etc.)
Develop, implement and improve processes and databases to efficiently convert customer RFQs to quotes.
Liaise between management, customers and sales team.
Develop plan and lead efforts to get products approved and specified by Consultants.
Take the lead in identifying and developing new high value customers.
Bachelors degree Engineering (mechanical engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Requirements and Skills:
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry in the Middle East
UAE drivers license
Strong communication (verbal and written English required, Arabic, Hindi a plus), presentation, and organization skills
Strong negotiation and follow-up skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Knowledgeable about Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Prior experience in sales managerial position consistently meeting/exceeding targets
Prior experience in vibration isolation, seismic restraint and associated engineering services including pipe stress analysis.
Leadership qualities with excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills. Ability to develop effective rapport through interaction with all levels including management.
Strong knowledge of and enthusiasm for building products
